An improved version of the Mid Thermal waterproof sock, this is much warmer and extremely comfortable!
The ultra dense twist pile padding inside the Merino wool liner provides more padding to pressure areas making it ideal for winter running. We've used these for many cold winters for adventure racing, mountain biking, kayaking and ultra runs, but work just as well on the cycle commute to work. These can be worn next to the skin or with SealSkinz sock liners for even better thermal performance.
Inner sock - Merino wool and nylon lycra, a supremely comfortable, thermal and wicking/absorption layer for maximum comfort.
Waterproof membrane - 100% waterproof and breathable porelle membrane. Typical WVP 65%
Outer sock - elasticated nylon - faster drying, low absorption and excellent durability
Calf length - 100% waterproof protection up to the calf muscle.
